"Say No" - slam poetry

The two poets in the video are Olivia Gatwood, Megan Falley reciting their poem “ SAY NO.” The pure strength in their voices is enough to evoke emotion as they touch on topics of rape, sexual harassment, equal pay and the struggles women go through in society today and in the past. Even with some vulgar language that is used to emphasis the point of just saying no won't be enough to make you happy, I still find myself captivated by the words that are being spoken. As a female growing up in today's society, I face the facts that if I haven't already experienced any of these experiences yet, odds I will soon. I really like how you included scientific facts. You don't see that as often as you should. i love how this is also an issue that I talk about a lot. We really don't get enough sleep and then teachers proceed to tell us that we aren't paying attention, which is not that fair.
