By  Julia Renison Q: What's your favorite subject to learn in school? A: I really enjoy English. It makes words come to life and you get to really connect to the words. Q: Who do you live with at home? A: I live with my mom, dad, and dog. My dad works at Intel but he works at home right now because of Covid. My mom stays at home and helps manage finances. Q: What extracurriculars do you do? A: I take vocal lessons, Mandarin, and taekwondo is my main thing but I also do dance. Q: When did you start doing taekwondo and what do you love about it? A: I started when I was eight. I came there wanting to learn to defend myself because I wanted more freedom. The more I got into the sport the more lessons and discipline you learn. It helped me get more confident and competitive. Q: What are you looking forward to in mass communications? A: I'm looking forward to writing more and I'm excited to see how writing has a place in the media. Q: Have you enjoyed your time

By Addison Locke   What do you do in your free time?   I enjoy hanging out with my friends and I also enjoy walking my dog… it’s very calming.  If you could switch lives with anyone for a day, who would it be? Why? I would switch lives with Michelle Visage from "Seduction." I feel like she lives a very happy and wild life. I feel like it would be interesting to stand in her shoes for a day. She’s a very happy and successful person. What is your idea of a perfect day? You know, sleeping in, getting a good amount of sleep, hanging out with friends, and eating good food.  How was returning from hybrid/online learning to full time in-person school?  It’s a little awkward, but I’m excited to be back in person and expand my social skills. I wasn’t doing too well in online school, so I’m excited to be back.

Okay on to our second question. Do you have a pet? If not, what is an animal you would like to have as a pet? Actually I have four dogs. I have a black lab, a great dane, and two golden retrievers. They are all girls too. Oh wow. It is hard to manage all of them? Well I have three at my mom’s house and one at my dad’s. So not really, it balances out, but I don’t really take care of them, my parents do that. Great. So for the third question - what is your favorite type of music? Why? I really like rap music because of the beats. I just really like music in general, just mostly rap music. It’s just fun to listen to. Cool! Ok we are almost done - what

A good glass of water with some ice in it, you know?  If a movie were to be made about your life, what actor would be cast to play you?   Probably like Scarlett Johansson, because I think she's really great at showing Asian representation in Hollywood. [Addison is using sarcasm. Johansson is a white woman who has notoriously played an Asian woman in movies.] You are stranded on a desert island. What is the one album you take with you? Melodrama, it's so good, nothing can top Melodrama. It has every genre in the album so
