Photojournalism Essay by Mia Christian

Finn, the Australian miniature labradoodle waits on a chair for a treat that Mia Christian has in her hand. Finn gets very eager and stretches out his leg and looks away in annoyance. Earlier in the day Finn had gotten multiple treats and expected one right away.

Finn, a rambunctious pup waits outside for Christian to throw the ball on a Wednesday afternoon. He wonders what she is waiting for. He was quite annoyed when she didn’t throw the ball right away.

Finn waits by the back door for Christian to let him back inside. Finn is getting irritated as the sun is blinding his eyes in mid afternoon. Christian waited for her mom to get a towel to wipe his paws.

  1. He's so adorable I love these pictures so much! The only piece of constructive criticism I have is the interjections - "Finn, the mini labradoodle waits" should have another comma after labradoodle before the sentence continues but other than that I LOVE IT.

  4. In the second photo, I like the warping of the lens- makes Finn look that much better and cuter in the photo. Great use of framing and colors as well, the daylight of the outside, gleaming onto a dark blue chair, or the multiple different shades of brown in the third photo - Finn included.

  5. Your dog is so cute! I really like the different camera angles you used!

  6. The dog's personality is captured in these photographs!
