Photojournalism Essay by Hayden Peabody

Sedona, a yellow lab living in the Portland Metro area, anticipates going outside for her daily walk. Due to COVID-19, she has been able to go outside more often as her family members are with her most of the day.

Ready to leave, Sedona inspects her surroundings in the car before departing to the nearby city park. It has started to rain, creating a slightly tense yet pleasant mood.

At the destination, Sedona poses while looking onward father down the trail while standing in front of the vehicle that just brought her there. The rain has scared away most of the trailgoers, creating her own temporary utopia.
