Podcast Review: 2 Dope Queens
By Darina Miroedova
I hadn't really listened to a lot of podcasts, because I always thought podcasts were for adults who liked to listen to politics or something snore worthy like that. Luckily, I found a really hilarious comedy podcast by two girls, who call themselves "2 Dope Queens"! This series of podcasts stars two black girls who talk mainly about relationships, romance, sex, hair, race, and all in between. Listening to these two girls talk about things most can relate to makes you think that you're having a conversation with your best friends. They make jokes left and right, and you can hear the laugh track in the background sometimes. Even better, their music score selection is bomb, they play popular hip hop tracks and sometimes really catchy beats. Their episodes range from 5 minutes to over an hour, depending on their topic, and you never really know what you'll get a taste of in each episode!
