Photojournalism Essay by Anna Klein

Two Lego minifigures build a snowman in the snow. This scene was created by
Anna Klein in 2016 in an attempt to decorate her room for the holidays.

A group of Lego soldiers relax in the jungle after doing whatever Lego soldiers do.
This scene was created by self proclaimed Lego enthusiast and professional sock
drawer organizer Anna Klein in spring of 2015.

Zane from Lego Ninjago peers out from behind a tree after spying on a mysterious group
of soldiers in the jungle. Due to the fact that Legos are inanimate objects, he gathered no
new information about the mysterious soldiers.

  1. That's a huge Lego display! The sheer amount of base plates in one room is... beautiful to see.

I like the use of depth of field in the two last photos, it accentuates the word the Lego guys are living in, as opposed to the regular human exterior.

  2. I appreciate the unique idea of a photojournalism piece about Lego people in their Lego world. Compelling storytelling.
