On October 24, on a property in Scappoose he co-owns and manages for timber and habitat, forester Barry Sims roasts a hot dog while son Ollie Sims roasts corn on the cob, niece Cece Humphrey roasts a marshmallow, and son Dan Sims eats a socially distanced meal. Due to Covid-19 and recent wildfires, the family celebrated their annual bonfire without additional guests and poured five gallons of water on the fire before leaving the property for the evening.
