The second video I watched was “Store-Bought Snacks You Can Make At Home” by Tasty. This was an around six minute video containing six seemingly simply at home recipes. It was a fast paced, video with no commentary only ingredients written out as they bake it. At the end of each item they made they would say what it was and move on to the next recipe. Even though it is fast, they put a link to full recipes in the description box below the video. Tasty also uses the viewers to decide the videos they will make, to also connect with their audience.
Tasty is a youtube channel and website with over 5 million subscribers. They make short useful videos and connect it back to the website that contains many recipes. They also have made a shop, where you can buy appliances, their own cookbooks, or you can choose any of three kits, cooking, pizza, and baking kit. The kits come with appliances and even a tasty apron, for anyone beginning cooking or already into it.
The video consists of six recipes, homemade oreos, pizza rolls, cheez-its, alphabet soup, pop tarts, and hot pockets. It shows the baking process for each, and what you should do when each is done. Although it would be nicer with commentary and maybe a step by step instructions for those in need of a little more help, the link to all the recipes makes up for it. At the end of the video it shows two other videos of Tasty’s that you can watch and an easy way to subscribe to that channel. It is a convenient, fun, and money saving way for people to have their favorite snacks.
I loved the video so much! Your article was thorough and provided a good overview of the video.
